Every month our members gather as a group and attend a random traditional AA meeting. We do this for three reasons:

  1. For some of us, it's difficult to understand AA's message when there's too much of the supernatural involved. Attending as a group is more comfortable for those of us who are new to AA and provides us the opportunity to support each other when things get confusing.

  2. For others, a big part of our Greater Power is the collective wisdom and fellowship from other AA members. Going to meetings as a group gives us a little more social confidence when looking for others to join our individual support networks.

  3. We attend meetings to carry the AA message of recovery to the alcoholics that still suffer. We want them to see that sobriety is achievable no matter what our beliefs or non-beliefs are.

Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, and since all our meetings have moved to the Zoom platform, we've joined up with New York's Intergroup Speaker Exchange. We'll update this page when more information becomes available.
